FIBER

Picture
FRC MONO 150
FRC MONO-150 fibers are manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene resin and exceed the requirements of ASTM C-1116 “Standard Specification for Fiber-Reinforced Concrete and Shotcrete”. They are specifically engineered for use in concrete as secondary reinforcement and controlling plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking.  MONO-150 fibers are designed for early crack control but they also do an excellent job of increasing the impact, shatter, and abrasion resistance of the concrete.

FRC-CS-1000
FRC CS-1000 fibers are made of low carbon, cut sheet steel with a tensile strength from 50 to 100 ksi. They contain deformations that run down the fibers that give them an incredible mechanical bond to the concrete matrix. The CS-1000 fibers are the best crack-containment fibers on the market. They are 1” in length with a very small diameter which helps to insure that an individual fiber will cross a forming crack and hold that crack tightly.

FRC 850 BLENDED
FRC-850 BLEND is a blend of low carbon drawn wire fibers and polypropylene synthetic micro fibers. The combination of the two proven fiber types provides a reinforcement system that addresses plastic shrinkage as well as restrained shrinkage in concrete slabs. Blending both fiber types into one pre-measured degradable bag offers owners, engineers, and contractors an easy way to provide a highly effective alternative to welded wire mesh and rebar.

FRC FIB 300
FRC FIB-300 fibers are manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene resin and exceed the requirements of ASTM C-1116 “Standard Specification for Fiber-Reinforced Concrete and Shotcrete”. They are fibrillated fibers that are specifically engineered for use in concrete as secondary reinforcement and controlling plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking.  FIB-300 is a multi-length fiber that is designed for early age crack-control but also can be used as secondary reinforcement.

FRC CSD 2500
FRC CSD-2500 fibers are made of low carbon drawn wire and have a minimum tensile strength of over 140 ksi. This product was engineered for use in composite steel decks to meet the requirements of the Steel Deck Institute (SDI). CSD-2500 is packaged in 25 lb degradable bags that is easy for the ready mix concrete industry to store, load, and mix.

FORTA-FERRO®
FORTA-FERRO® is an easy to finish, color blended macrosynthetic fiber, made of 100% virgin copolymer/polypropylene consisting of a twisted bundle non-fibrillating monofilament and a fibrillating network fiber, yielding a high-performance concrete reinforcement system.  FORTA-FERRO® is used to reduce plastic and hardened concrete shrinkage, improve impact strength, and increase fatigue resistance and concrete toughness.  This extra heavy-duty macrosynthetic fiber offers maximum long-term durability, structural enhancements, and effective secondary/temperature crack control by incorporating a truly unique synergistic fiber system of long length design.  FORTA-FERRO® is non-corrosive, non-magnetic, and 100% alkali proof!
