Maschmeyer currently operates nine ready mixed concrete plants, a portable plant division, a concrete block plant, a rebar fabrication division, and a fleet of over 130 delivery trucks.

Maschmeyer Concrete has achieved recognition by NRMCA as Silver Premier Producer. To achieve this recognition, a company must meet rigid standards in production, quality control, environmental protection and customer service. There are only a handful of producers nationally that qualify for this award.

Maschmeyer Concrete services over 1,700 different client accounts in all market segments. With over 800 mix designs that cover DOT, high strength, and structural lightweight and precast concrete proficiency, we keep our State of Florida Certified Laboratory busy.

Maschmeyer Concrete's plants are all state-of-the-art computer batched and all trucks are fitted with GPS and status boxes. All of our managers are ACI and DOT Certified. We are active in over 14 Industry Associations and are a proud supporter of The Boys and Girls Clubs.

The Move to Florida
After a lengthy downturn in the auto industry in the early 1980's, Troy Maschmeyer decided the company needed to find a market that was not so dependent on the auto Industry. After 3 years of searching for the right demographics, Maschmeyer Concrete opened its first plant in Florida in 1986.

Early Years
The Maschmeyer family started building single-family residences in the Detroit, Michigan metropolitan area in the mid-1940. As the GI's returned from WWII, there was a need for affordable homes and the government was subsidizing the purchase of these homes through the GI Bill.

The houses sold quickly and were in large demand. To keep up with production, Troy Maschmeyer Sr. decided he would benefit from supplying himself with concrete. In 1948, he opened his first concrete plant. Mr. Maschmeyer self-performed the underground, paved the roads, sidewalks, drive ways and house slabs with his own concrete. After building a number of communities in the suburbs of Detroit, Mr. Maschmeyer retired from the residential building market and concentrated on the ready mix concrete business and industrial building and development.
